Mobile World Congress is just around the corner —for a company like us, headquartered in Barcelona, quite literally— and we would not miss it for the world. Last year, we shared our opinion about the "AR versus VR debate", predicting that Augmented Reality will eventually outplay Virtual Reality. Since then, AR "came, saw and conquered".
In a few days we will be flying to New York City to attend the NRF BIG Show. This four day event that is happening January 15-17 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center, is expected to deliver insightful “Innovations, Connections and Solutions”, which is why we could not miss it.
2016 was a big year for Augmented Reality and our mission in this flagship industry event will be to demonstrate what Image Recognition and AR tech can do for retail companies.
It is generally difficult to decide which events to attend in the jam-packed Spring events season, but we felt that the Millennial 20/20 conference in London, UK was one that we could not miss. The two-day event (13-14th April, 2016) focuses exclusively on next-gen retail & brand experiences, summoning the most coveted retailers, companies and startups, including the likings of Farfetch, Under Armour, Pepsi, Adidas, Nespresso and co.
